As you all know Kerry Katona was a member of Atomic Kitten before she fell pregnant late last year. But the blonde babe had already thought about leaving the group before finding out about her pregnancy. Kerry thought being in a pop group was very demanding and she found the schedule too hectic for her liking. There is no chance of her taking her place back in Atomic Kitten when little Molly is born. So she is thinking about becoming a TV presenter as its not as demanding as being in a pop group.
Kerry cradling little Molly! 'PURRFECT 'LIFE Kerry reveals all about Baby Molly and her life the past few months. Bryan and I did a photo shoot for HELLO! magazine late last year. I remember telling the make-up artist that my boobs were all swollen. Everyone told me that as not normal. Soon afterwards Bryan and I were shopping and he gently touched against my stomach. The pain so severe I nearly hit the ceiling, We had no cash on us so I borrowed 10 off my driver and I bought a pregnancy test.
Bryan and I got back to our hotel room. I went into the bathroom and took the test. It came up positive so just to be sure I got a second. Bryan needed convincing that I was being serious once he had seen the results of the second. He said "You drew on that" Then he gave me a hug and told me we were going to be the best parents in the world.
About three months into my pregnancy while I was at in Warrington. I started bleeding so my mum took me to Warrington General Hospital and the doctor feared I had meningitis. I was so petrified I was going to miscarry but all turned out well in the end
I left Atomic Kitten not only because I was pregnant and after the birth I wanted to devote all my time to Molly and being a mum. But too be honest with you It wasn't fun anymore. I actually was thinking about leaving before the prospect of Molly came about. My pregnancy just gave me that push to do what I wanted quit the band.
During my pregnancy me and Bryan bought a house in Co.Wicklow just outside Dublin and while Bryan
was touring away with Westlife. My mum Sue moved I to keep me company. I had a few pregnancy craving's. I loved Chicken Curries and every morning I had to eat as soon as I woke and crumpets were another craving.
The night before Molly was born. Bryan came home with a chicken curry Bryan lay in bed as I fell asleep on the couch beside him I woke up in the middle of the night and it already started. Bryan myself, my mum and Mairead (Bryan's mum) calmly drove to Mount Carmel St. Hospital.
After eighteen hours in labour just before I went into the delivery room. Bryan turned to me and whispered "You're going to be a mum in a minute" I just broke down in tears it was emotional. I gave birth to Molly 31st of August at 7.25pm she was 8lbs and 2oz Then I held her touched her chest and told her I loved her. But I couldn't see her properly as my eyes were full of tears
Ever since Molly has been born she has been totally alert. My mum was her visitor and she said "My baby's got a baby" It's special for us both as it has only ever been mum and me and now it's Bryan Molly me and my mum.
Every night I look at her sleeping in her Moses baskets close to our bed and I can't believe her and Bryan made her. She is just so beautiful and perfect.
I came from the hospital to find a surprise 21st Birthday Party. Mum put on a Buffet and baked me a cake. Bryan bought me a new Toyota Yaris and in the back was a baby seat wrapped up in a bow
It was the best week of my life!
Bryan and Kerry plan to marry January 5th 2002 in Dublin. Bryan is hoping for westlife success for many more years and Kerry hopes to pursue a career in presenting
